I like this hobbie, I like play the violin. I thing that it's beautiful and interesting. Also, you have fun when you had a concert.

If you like a lot the classical music, you will go to listen very famous persons who plays violin. It's fantastic!

Asking for permission

Mariona: Dad, can I go to Mag Concert this Sunday?
Dad: Mmm. with who?
Mariona: Whith Marc.
Dad: OK.
Mariona: Cool. Oh, and then can I go to dinner with Marc?
Dad: No, you can't.
Mariona: Why not?
Dad: Because tomorrow of Sunday you've got school.
Mariona: OK. One more thing, can I borrow some money?
Dad: Yeah, OK. I'll lend you 15 euros. But I'll only lend you the money if you promise to tidy your room when you get back. Here you go.
Mariona: OK. I will. Thanks Dad, I love you.

Describing an event

Marc: Have you ever been to the "Mag Concert", Mariona?
Mariona: No, what's that all about?
Marc: Oh, it's a competition of the most famous violinists of the world.
Mariona: That sounds fun. And when's it on?
Marc: Well, it's on Sunday, I think.
Mariona: So, people try to fly. What else happens?
Marc: There are some famous people and then there's food. Do you fancy going?
Mariona: Yes, OK. Why not?

Mariona: Oh, Hi. I'm phoning about tickets for YORIS JARZYNSKI.
Man: Yes, can you tell me the date and place?
Mariona: Yes, are there any tickets for the concert in Barcelona on the 4th of March?
Man: Yes, we've got tickets for that.
Mariona: Great, how much are they?
Man: They're all 58 euros.
Mariona: OK. Can I have two tickets please?

BIOGRAPHY OF GONÇAL COMELLAS

Gonçal Comellas is a famous Catalan violinist.

He born in Avinyonet de Puigventós (Girona), he starts study violin when he was eleven years.

When he was thirteen he wins his first competition and when he was fourteen he goes in Barcelona for acting in a concert in the minor of Bach and then, he acting in Madrid and won a prize.

His violinist teacher was Joan Massià, another big famous person.

He participated in the most important festivals of music: City of London, Festival of Prades, Festival of Gstaad, Festival de Otoño of Madrid, Festival de Barcelona, in Torroella de Montgrí, in Cadaqués, in Santa Creus, in Perelada, etc..., performer with artistic people.

A profile of a violin

The violin is an instrument of rubbed rope. It has four ropes. The violins has existed since the 16th century.

One of my favourites violinist is Gonçal Comellas. He became play the violin when he was five years old. He was the first Catalan man to win a gold medal in a concert.

In this project I talk about the music and my hobby: I play the violin. I choosen this topic because I think that is interesan and also because I play the violin and I have a lot of information.
